Wow! This is another version of Lady Chattersley's Lover.
Meyers is an Andonis of the 21st century. This superbly filmed dramatization of King Henry the VIII gives me goose pimples. The seduction scenes bring one to a height of exhileration that no pornographic flick ever could. If only more men would realise that seduction is the way to release the "Beast of a womens passion". Guys should watch this show and learn the art of seduction. They would certainly reap the benefits. |

Um, nothing the right setting, the right mood, a good set of hands, and just the right tunes can't accomplish!
Romance is an art that seems to be dead in this world. It does live but in small islands among the sea of humanity. Now I am always up for a well played out Shakespear play and this would be placed after that era. How does this stack up? Is it Elizabethan in flavor or is it more of the House of Tudors flavor? I ask this because a lot of American attempts to do films based on English History are (Cough cough) Americanized. |
