Yes and yes the illuminati do exist, this can be traced by finding out the history rap of the world's favourite hip-hop star called "2 pac". Who is now beneath the earth's crust. He sang saying "killuminat" meaning remove the illuminati or get rid of. The first 4 letters in the word killuminate mean kill which 2 get rid or remove. This was go to some rappers who were involved with th illuminati. Antichrist is so much real in the states it has already started were religious doctrine disallowed in schoolz. Much more is yet to happen believe or not it will.

From what I understand the goal of the original Illuminati was the detruction of the Catholic Church and Christianity in general. And probably the monarchies that supported the Catholic Church. They saw them as oppressive and as counter to the enlightenment period.

I don't know what their goal is today. But my guess is that it is along the same lines and that they would support a one world religion. They may also have members who are in it for the money and a world currency controlled by a central bank.

I'm not sure how Tupac and/or the music industry would play into that. Sounds a bit strange. But I'm sure my statements above sound a bit strange as well.
