If you found a million dollars, would you turn it in?

Hummm the way things are right now not sure what I would do with it.........

About the only way I would turn it in is if I could guarantee who tried to claim it was the rightful owner. Therefore if no one claimed it I would get it back.

I mean heck that kind of money if found is most likely from a drug dealer don't think he would come back and claim it anyway..

If not then I would donate some of it and let others benefit from it as well as get all my needed repairs done to my house. Then start some kind of business in order to hire some of those that are out of work.

either way I would try to get it straightened out but I wouldn't actually hand the cash over to anyone but the proven owner

That's a lot of money ... and more likely to be missed than 20 bucks.
If I found 20 bucks ... it would depend where and who was around.

A million ... I would take legal action to put a claim on it with a note that I expect at least a finder's fee. min. 1% but expecting 3 to 10 percent. ... or in what is standard. If a legal owner is not found within a reasonable time... all of it.

If I felt it had a real claim from a real sorce looking for it, I'd come forward with it....
