Been using FB for awhile and have never had any virus problems.

I don't want to merge and let my family accidentally see how I act here!

I could care less. I don't use facebook. It's not like any redneck chicks from Kentucky are going to figure that chit out........

Yeah I like to keep certain things separate from each other myself

But do welcome an influx of newbies to torment

We might get more newbies if we all spent a little more time in 'Newbies welcome' forum.

There is something about this FaceBook merger that makes me un-easy. I have tried and failed to navigate that site and think of it as a family and friends meeting place. Plus games etc etc.

As for making it more "seamless" to get on Mingle2 I click on favorites, click on Mingle and click on 'sign in' Couldn't be much easier than that. Every site you join has a sign up page to begin with so how does this help those of us who are not on Face Book or people like me who are but don't care for it?? I know children who use Face Book so I am perfectly willing to concede that this is my fault but I can't figure that site out at all.

That's definitely something up for consideration, Dan, (and hi to Lisa) Certainly, anything we can do to make the site more accessible would be to our benefit. We'll just have to wait and see what development has in store. I do expect we'll see a few changes.

There goes my last means of escape.

I doubt that will be the case. I am sure it will be an option to connect through facebook, which we won't have to do if we don't want to.

There goes my anonymity from family and friends on FB and people knowing I am on a dating site.......I feel it undermines the dating things and merges it with family and friends.....

Hopefully they'll explain more how they're doing this and hopefully it won't be like that. I don't see them forcing people to join facebook in order to continue to use this site. And I don't see having to mix the two. But, I would wait for a better explanation.

I already have facebook......and its not like it would be hard to recognize me......if they just looked in the forums you don't have to join to view the forums here...........

Seriously..i want nothing to do with face book, myspace or any other site like it..the lay out here I think is fine....want more people ask us to promote...i do all the time any ways

I have no desire to connect why same reason many have my family is on the Facebook and I don't want them here this is my hid away so to speak......lmao

I can live with people coming over from FB. But the new pop-ups, do not want.
