We had some sun shiny weather, yesterday, Carol. Kathy went with me to pick up my van from the shop, yesterday. I sure missed my van. So nice to be able to sit up in a van instead of laying down in a car. Kathy was glad to get her car back since I have been driving it more than she was. And she had talked to the mechanic to see about getting her car fixed. I enjoyed my two days off.

Thanks I just so worry she won't come through this because she has emphysema.

Good morning, friends. My luck with vehicles has been minimal. Got a ride home this morning with a friend as they were loading Kathy's car onto the wrecker. The friend, Robert, had me drive behind him with his girlfriend's car while he drove his car in front to a repair shop. In return he gave me a ride home. Then, I tried unsuccessfully to try to start my van which just came back from the repair shop. Kathy was asking me about getting my van fixed and I was telling her lets try to concentrate on trying to get one fixed namely hers since both our vehicles have multiple problems. The weather is nice. I have been fortunate where the vehicles have broken down.

Good morning Roy, Sorry to hear you're having those problems with your vehicles...Nothing worse than having a car you can't depend on..
Been rainy here with big thunderstorms but supposed to be warmer and nice on the weekend.. I've been spring cleaning while its rainy out..The guys came and opened our pool the other day.. it was 45 and I ask if I should get out my ice skates..lol Has anyone talked to Jeff? Just wondered how he is doing?

We waited all day on of the car being fixed, Carole. My friend, Robert at work I called said he would see to it that someone would come and get me since I don't have a way to work tonight. Weather was nice here, today. It was Kathy's birthday so she made us some strawberry shortcake. Her friend, JJ came and got her to do some grocery shopping since she got her monthly retirement check, yesterday. As soon as we get Kathy's car out of the shop my van is going back in. I bet the pool was nice.

It's gonna be just a little while before I get in that pool.. We're still having some cool days (sun is warm but air is cold)..lol

Yeap some times living in this big city it seems the other way around. I miss the old days in that way. But I've got good friends that go way back.

I offered to pay Jamie for gas and he turned it down. Said he might need my help some day. He was raised like I was in learning that your word should be your bond. He is a real busy guy and told me to call him at 9pm if I needed a ride. Which I will because the van is still down and Kathy's car is still in the shop. He offered to help me fix the van without having to take it to the shop. Which is really good because the van would have to be towed again and towing is about 40 bucks.

I lucked out on the van. Jamie tapped on the starter and it started. Got a starter on order and will be in on Tuesday morning. Jamie said he would help me put it in when we get off work. Its a good day.

Good morning, friends. Changed out the old linoleum in the kitchen with some wood grain looking stuff. It sure looks better now. The stormy weather is still going strong north of us. We could hear the lightning last night and it knocked the power out for a little bit.

It is a cold one this morning. Then thunder, lightning and raining has stopped here.

Been having computer problems if you don't see me on that is why. It freezes up after about 10 minutes of being on.

I hear ya, Carol about the computer problems. I found out that it was just my NIC card that the lightning zapped. I am on an older Dell 3000 until my new computer is fixed tomorrow. I messed up the cpu fan holder on the computer I was using so since he couldn't fix the laptop at the shop we negotiated until he is putting all the good stuff I had acquired into a new motherboard with a dual core processor. I had to pay for a new computer box which will be HP but all the stuff will be upgraded. So I am happy.
