I am glad I got to her before she drank any. She sure chewed a big hole in the plastic bottle. I know now not to trust her with anything plastic. I tried to throw a stick to her and she tried to eat that. The only thing I have tried to throw at her that work is PVC. She tries to chew but I guess it is too hard for her teeth. So I have this PVC pipe that we play with. Kathy bought her a stuff duck that she really likes but she chewed the head off of it. Lady still likes it as a toy though.

They do make chew toys for dogs that are tough for them to eat, but do allow a good chew for a dog. Even plastic pipes are not that good for dogs to chew on. When I had dogs I purchased, what is called a nu-bone. My dogs would chew on those all day.

Indeed Carole. The weather here has been so very nice, a pure shame to stay inside. Going out today to go fly a kite.

I used to do that with my gkids.. One time we had 9 balls of string out, it was soooo far we could hardly see it..lol Finally just cut the string and let it go...

I have seen a lot of people sailing big model boats on San Diego's Mission Bay. Nice, relaxing activity. Then, there is Wii Bowling and Jigsaw puzzles. Minds need excercise also. |

My kite is a 13 foot stunt kite. I have to attach myself with stakes in the ground an a belt with hooks around my waist. The kite has a 300 pound pull in 20 mile an hour wind. The lines are only 180 feet out. The kite can travel at speeds of 60 plus miles per hour. It is indeed a grand workout. So much fun.
