We are down to 63degs presently, They were predicting 59. Still, they also said we would get a bit of rain......that's not happening either wind chill last night +3.......tonight it should be below that. Good heavens, I thought you were a Texan, you've been holding out on me! Your an Inuit 
I AM a TEXAN...this crazy weather is changing!! Global warmimg??? I am still waiting for the warm part

I couldn't stand no heat. I am such a baby about cold. And I live in Minnesota HA I like heat also..but actually don't mind sleeping in a cold house..just need it warm to move around. It's an ol shack of a place. Used to be a bar 40 yrs ago...still needs a lot of repairs...but it's mine, free and clear..so........
I bet it will be fun to fix up
It looks pretty good on the inside..the outside needs a BUNCH done to it..and all the docks, gazebo and such need to be torn out..lots of work! |

The house I am in was built by my parents, but it to needs a lot of tender loving care. Two year's was a new furnace. Last year was insulation and had to replace a big picture window. This year a basement wall thats is bowing. But it's mine, my mom left it to me in her will.

This year a basement wall thats is bowing. But it's mine, my mom left it to me in her will. How wonderful for you to have it..all the memories it must hold for you. We had to sell my parents house..but they hadn't had it long.

its seems to be a never ending battle when you own a house. especially when your husband wanted it so HE could fix it up...then divorces you and gets the GOOD one and you get the fixer upper

Well my husband didn't divorce me ,but he wasn't what you would call a handy man either.He would always put the repairs off and now I am stuck with them. |

My husband is a contractor...he had the money, men and equipment that could do it...but noooooo..it landed to me...thank goodness I have tools!!

Can't say nothing bad about mine, he passed about 3 years ago. He was one of those jack of all trades, I am a jack of no trades.

I suspect there will be some "fixer uppers" around here before long. There are a bunch of hero's going to drop a 60foot gum tree. There's not a tree feller amongst them, and so far, it don't look good. Methinks there will be tears before bedtime tonight!

instead of going to bed at one am...I should go earlier and get up earlier. It's a good time..try it some time.
