I fully support Wikileaks.

As for the Bradly Manning, who leaked the Collateral Murder video, he's 500 times more a hero than the cowardly murderers in the Apache.

sick

Did you watch the video? Do you know what a war crime is?

Yes I watched the edited video that was shown out of context.

Why don't you watch the unedited one that is available?

Because everything put up by Wikileaks is edited.

So you're saying that Wikileaks edited the original video and that no Reuters photographers were killed, no children were wounded, and no unarmed people picking up wounded bodies were murdered? That Wikileaks just edited it in there?

if a policeman tells you to stop, and you don't, innocent or not, whats going to happen? you will get shot....those people were warned, and they didn't stop. it is so easy for you people that have never been in a war or military for that matter to sit back and say what is right and wrong, but you really have no clue. go join up and see for yourself what takes place during a war.

Have you never heard of the Geneva Conventions. Or any laws of war at all? Or are Americans just immune to that sort of thing? What those men did was wrong in every aspect. There is no excuse.

there is no excuse for people that have never been in a war time situation to keep talking like they know what is going on either, is there? my whole point is that nobody in these forums was at the scene where those people were shot. so how could anyone say they know what happened by watching a cut up film of something that we know nothing about?

For someone to call people "murderers" is crazy. Evidently that person has never been in combat. The group walking was told to stop, but it was ignored. How was anyone supposed to know? The people in the Apache were just doing what they had been told. During combat you don't stop and say, "Let's land and make sure that they are the enemy before we shoot, even though we gave them clear instructions to halt." You "armchair generals" kill me.

Fight in a combat situation, have live ammo whizzing by your head....... then tell me how you feel and if you think your rules should apply. Until that time, you need to stop criticizing the people who make it possible for you to come to this forum and whine about how unfair the world is to people.

Anyway, if I saw a fully armed Apache hovering in front of me and the crew told me to stop, I think I would.

There was no "ammo whizzing by" the apache in that video. The murdered people in that video likely didn't speak English (it's naive to think everyone speaks English just because the country is occupied by Americans). There were other people in the street at the time-how were they to know who was being told to stop? Any number of people could have been addressed. The people that that were targeted weren't even known or suspected "militants". If you watch, there was no clear and present danger to anyone. That video is just an example of trigger-happy goons and the massive failure of foreign interventionism (not to mention a war crime).

I would really love to see these people put themselves in a situation where they don't know who is their enemy.....women......children.....handicapped.....men......strapped bombs to themselves just to kill.....and then pass judgement on military for getting trigger happy........I'd be trigger happy too dammit.....go figure.....you don't know what that does to you.....look at what it did to men in the vietnam and Korean wars with PTSD still hearing ammunitions whizzing past their heads see enemy where there are none hitting the floor bcs they are afraid still to this day of incoming.......go into war and then say there is a such thing as this being a war crime........makes me sick people passing judgement without living the circumsttances....walk a mile in another's shoes frist.....

Ammo whizzing by was not meant for the Apache situation, just a general situation. "Likely" is not a certainty. And it doesn't matter, if a gunship barked an order through it's loudspeaker, no matter the language, I would at least acknowledge it and stop walking. And those "trigger happy goons" are doing a job. You and I can only "assume" what was going on. I'll always take the side of the military unless there is a "clear" reason not to and not some edited tape. Any novice can clearly see the tape has been edited. Not doctored, but edited. Anyway, this is why the general populace should never be allowed to view and judge what goes on in battle. It's a different world out there. Don't judge it using rules of what's fair, because nothing in battle is fair. If you think it is, then it's clear you have never been.
