I took Bobby to his final doctor appt before his surgery. It is set for January 5th. They will be removing 2 tumors and 3 para thyroids, but said he will be able to go home that evening. He is very frightened, although he is becoming a bit more calm since I have explained things to him in detail. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prays. God bless you all and hope you all have a beautiful Holiday season

Okay...new update on Bobby...I think I mentioned they had removed 3 para-thyroid glands, the thyroid, and two small tumors. After his surgery, the calcium level went up again...they have locatede a tumor the size of my thumb just above his heart. His next appt is March 8th. He will need to see a surgeon in Indy because no one is qualified in Anderson...so that is what I know for now...and Bless you all for the many, many prayers.

Okay....a call from the doc today verifies that the tumor in Bobby's chest is actually lodged between the pulminary glad and an aorta. The surgeon will be here a week from Monday to talk to mom and let us know about the procedure...Bobby will have an extended hospital stay in Indy and we have been told that this is a very dangerous operation....thank you for your continued prayers
