Some of you may remember a few months ago I posted that my brother who has cancer was getting married, well I need to ask for more prayers for him, please. He was getting chemo and the doctor thought the tumors were shrinking and things were on the road to recovery. The last time doc checked had her very puzzled, the tumors are back, so she sent him to a cancer hospital to have them check. Winds up, the new doctor wants to open his abdomen and see just how much cancer is there and take out the tumors. He will be going in tomorrow morning and should be on table for a number of hours. He will be getting a high does of radiation directly into his abdomen after the doctor removes the tumors. Please keep William in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

William got out of surgery about 30 minutes ago, the doctor said it looked like someone threw a large handful of peas into his abdomen. They were on not in his liver, diaphram, abdomen walls, intestines and stomach. They took out as many as they could find and did a 90 minute heated chemo treatment. Hopefully that killed whatever cells were left in there.
It isn't 'over' yet as the doctor wants to check in a few weeks and see if there is an improvement. Thank you all for thoughts and prayers. |

William's different blood count numbers are higher than his doctor would like so they are watching that right now.
