I understand the emotion and the feeling, but for the record... If this is about you, these things are nothing to be ashamed over. They are simply a lesson to be learned and a part of becoming a whole person.

from what i have experienced, the first step to moving on and giving up the one you love, is admitting that no matter what either of you do, it will never work. and that trying to force things to work, isn't fair to either of you. ya know what i mean. I'm sure you can tell by some of the things i have written, we have had alot of the same experiences and relationship problems. the end of true love is rough even for the strongest person, and i don't think the saying "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" is even close to being accurate.lol, it should say "what doesn't kill you, only makes you want to kill yourself". well thats how it went for me at least. i guess it all depends how used to being hurt you are. gr8 poem, keep up the writing, it seems to help alot.

Agreed, very nice poem. Don't let your heart bleed-out, there is always another romance down the road,no matter how long that road may be.

^^what they have said...but don't build a fortress so big around your heart that no one can get in either!!! I was devastated after the ex hubbys trial & the deception, lies, and betrayal by "friends & family" that when I moved 4yrs ago I cut ties with everyone except immediate family & have only recently started letting those I trust back into my life. If it weren't for horses & pit bulls I may have taken the easy way out-IDK! They taught me how to trust again
