Ever have a plan, and everyone seems to think it will never happen. My goals are happening and I am tired of nay-sayers or DREAM SMASHERS. I was told things wont work out and now they have. I am onto a new project and i cant help but be surrounded by dream smashers. People are lazy and dont have the motivation to go after what they really want. I don't get why they have to try and discourage others from following their dreams. Weird. what is your dream and are you pursuing it?

yay i just finished a project no-one thought was possible, now I am about to get paid. Im moving forward to my next project, and again with the people who are unimaginative--think everything is impossible. Where did we get electricity, automobiles, airplanes. everyone thought they were dreamers. . . and Thank God for them right?

My plan is to become unconscionably successful through my writing. Is it working? Well, yes, maybe, but it's a slow process. I do see progress happening -- more and more book sites are carrying my stuff; I've recently discovered that they're even on sites in Russia and India, which surprises me.

Would it be nice if things happened a lot faster? Sure, but overnight sensations in the publishing world are rare indeed.

There are, of course, naysayers, but they tend to fizzle out once you've actually had something published. At that point, a lot of the naysaying arguments go out the window -- "You'll never get published" and "No one will ever read this" are pretty poor positions for the nattering nabobs of negativity (I stole that from somewhere) to take once you've received a few reviews and cashed a few royalty checks.

I have absolute confidence in my writing ability. There may be some lingering concerns over whether there are enough literate people in the world to support this sort of endeavor, but I guess I'll find out eventually, one way or the other.

around here mexicans are like a bucket of crawdads. if you have a bucket of crawdads you don't need to cover it, because if one gets close to crawling out, the others will pull him back in. at work you can have plenty of mexican laborers, but if one gets into management, the others will cut him off

I got sick of listening to other people years ago. Very few people truly like to see others succeed.

I put up with this BS every day I work too. I have to plan everything and then come the questions. Then comes everyone else's ideas and suddenly I am stuck in a confusing fur ball with me telling everyone around me to SHUT THE F UP! There comes a point where you either put your foot down or walk away! I like letting others fuque something up so bad it costs several times more to fix THEIR fuque up! Then people start to see my value in these projects. Until then I let them get bitten in the azz!

I'm a hard working guy & smart working too..!!

But I'm not ambitious....(Very odd).....I'm satisfied in what I'm getting.....I always feel that I'm able to get more....But I never tried hard to grab it.

I have plenty of plans planted ....just in mind.....But seldom I get time to work over those....cause I'm forced to work for OTHERS PLANS...
....coz I need PEACE...PEACE OF MIND.....!! PEACEFUL time to keep on thinking

i get it prasan, Im not one to drop my goals or say it will never happen. i have accomplished a lot of goals in my life, had I not gone after them-they would not have been accomplished. had I listened to those around me- i would not have gone after them. I just hate waking up to nay-sayers.

There are people who even though unsuccessful or even failed chasing their dreams that still want to encourage and propel others towards theirs.......in my life I have gone to the point of ending a relationship with someone I loved to say go chase your dreams and think of me not for your effort at success or to at least try and achieve your dreams is more important......I know and even then knew that if I had asked them to stay with me or held them to me they would not have known what would have happened and if they had stayed.....they would have resnted me because they would have thought I held them back......sometimes in life you have to love another enough to let them go...........I am glad you are realizing your dreams......may they become tenfold....negativeness is never good to surround you

Thats awesome, I am just getting to the point where profit instead of expense is reaping from my innovations. i hope my lil snowball grows, but with that so must my ideas.

Oh I've heard their crap! Misery loves company & when you are too lazy to chase any dreams or just lack dreams it's easy to say someone else can not attain what you are too afraid to try so eff em!

Follow your own path regardless of what anyone else thinks cuz YOU have to live with the consequences and rewards obtained!!!

All those negative biatches will sure be pissed next year when I get my docorate in Genetics & oh yeah-IMMA MAKE DAMN SURE THEY ARE AWARE OF THE FACT WHEN IT HAPPENS! (now the ex-hubbies egg-donor can call me DR. LITTLE B!TCH-hehe)

Congrats on your hard work and getting your dr.. My gdaughter graduated college 3 yrs ago and then worked to save to go back to school.. She is now getting her Masters at the Smithonian in Washington, DC and I am sooo proud of her. She has a degree in Archeology and Anthropology..

For those of you that follow your dreams then do so. Never let anyone or anything stand in your way. In the end regardless what happens if you quit trying to reach your goals the only one to blame would be yourself. As you make each step along the way pat yourself on the back treat yourself a little for the end results will have the rewards you seek....

Yeah the hardest person to convince that I could do this was myself honestly! I have really struggled with grad school, but it has been worth all my hardships!! I don't feel I need to convince the nay-sayers, they will see in the end! Other than that, I have a great supportive family, friends and a committee of mentors that believe in me!!!
