For me...as i grew up in Europe before i came to the US in 1999, it has mainly been the Brit influence...i love listening to Led Zeppelin, ELP,Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Moody Blues, King Crimson, you name it.

Guess you are missing the Stones in that list, and rightfully so. Never been a big fan of the Stones, don't ask me why. Never really caught on to me.
