Everyone has that favorite clothing item that they just cant get rid of. Mine is a iron on Farrah Fawcett tee shirt. It is cracking to pieces. What is yours?

I have a M.S.U. Spartans sweater that was my dads (he died 12 years ago)that I can't seem to get rid of.

size 3x Green Bay Packers Tee - I wear it as a nighty but it's getting pretty worn out - had it for oh.....too long to remmeber how long

Mine are, 1. a tee shirt that says "beam me up Scottie, there's no intelligent life here" it belonged to a dear friend who died of lung cancer at the tender age of 25, I never wear it, just move it from home to home to home over the years. 2. The few pieces I kept of my late husbands. After his first very long hospitalization I bought us matching shirts, the ONLY time we ever had matching clothes of any kind! On his first day back to work, I had to drive him and stay with him to be sure he didn't over do,(actually he couldn't drive for a long time after and I went to work with him for weeks but I digress) so, I don't know, as some sort symbol of what we had survived, we wore those matching shirts to his office. He was cremated in mine since by then it fit him better, I kept his. So my favorite clothes aren't what I wear but are keep-sakes of lost loves.

I guess my fav that I do wear is my bathrobe, mom bought it for me when I was a teenager - gosh they don't make em like that any more! I love it because it is just the right weight/warmth and has managed to fit me through all my various weights!!!

My retirement hats from my days as a school bus driver in San Diego. I never wear them, but getting rid of them would be a crime.

My clothes I wore when I met Antione Fisher in San Diego in 2002. The shirt is in a frame over my computer and the pants are still in my closet.

I have this shirt that I have had since I was a teen, it is like 3 sizes too big, and there are small holes in it. on the front is a pot leaf under that it says "I'd hit that" and just under that is a giant joint. I am actually wearing it now lol.

If I may borrow the lyrics from the Kinks"A Dedicated Follower Of Fashion"When cloths become too worn,stretched,discolored,torn,etc.then I toss it.Of course I have sentimental items such as my military beret,antiques,first hockey stick,etc.but that's another topic entirely.Godspeed!Cy
