(Yes, we know this to be true)

Around Mar-Apr '06 I had a stroke.
It resulted in (For the clinically minded w/ translation)
Dysarthria-slurred/difficult speech
Ataxia-balance & coordination problems
Dysphagia-coughing/swallowing problems

OK-Slowed me down some

Then my doc, based on lab results, wanted a liver ultrasound.
2 CT scans, a liver biopsy & a colonoscopy later, in May '07,
I'm given a diagnosis of adenocarcinoma, Cancer of Unknown
Primary site.
Two more CTs and a PET scan later...
It's a cancerous mass on the liver that's NOT liver cancer. it's in ribs and shoulder blades, too.

w/o treatment 6 mos +/-
W/ treatment 12 mos +/-
It metastasized (moved in) from somewhere else and theydon't know where.

I can accept that he SAID that;
But I WILL NOT accept the sentence.

I fully expect to put his educated ass to shame.

My prayers are with you. Get a 2nd and 3rd opinion if you need to. Contact the Cancer Treatment Center that are advertised on TV, they offer alternative treatments and I have heard good things about them. Good luck. Don't give up, people can win the fight.

Yeah, I've already got 7 scrips and 3 OTCs and that's before 6 drugs to be infused for chemo

I'm more scared of the chemo than the cancer.

david, I don't know you, I won't offer to give you prayers since that would make me a hypocrite, but I will say that there is always a way to get around things. You can fight this. The main problem with medical sciences today is that they can and will be wrong about things like this. Their tests and such cannot take into account the effects that a person's will to live can have on things like this.If you want to, you will beat this thing.
