hello, I'm 28 and never ate a salad. I'm getting tired of eating my usual hamburgers and chicken tenders so I thinking of trying a salad. But my question is this...which dressing should I try? There are so many to choose and I have no idea what any taste like. So any suggestions? I do like sweet tasting sauces, and BBQ sauce as well, so maybe that will help.

Make your own - there's tons of recipes on line. That way you can use only ingredients that you like

You are young. Most young people prefer Ranch Dressing or French dressing because it is a little sweet. As your tastes expand you may like Parmesan cheese dressing (Caesar) or my favorite, Blue Cheese.

You can buy little cheap packages of mix if you don't want to buy a whole jar or (better) just make it from scratch. Of course to make it you would need to buy a hunk of blue cheese (for example) that you may not like.

I just made a blue cheese burger! Yum!

Why don't you just go to a restaurant, order a salad, and ask for samples of all their different dressings? They won't care.

Hiya Cloudy, stop by Wendy's and order a half salad, they have four choices, since you like sweet sauces, ask for the pomegranate dressing. It's pretty good and they give it to you in the small packets so if you don't like it, you don't have to use it.flowerforyou

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try some of them, except for the blue cheese (Im not a cheese fan most of the time).
