I love the confidence in a man. Was out drinking with some friends, this guy comes to me and says "you ready to go get something to eat?" We were eyeing eachother all night. So I looked at me gf's and thought "what the hell".. So i grabbed my purse and left with him. Because of his take charge role. i was so into him. We dated for almost a year.

I'm trying to get better at meeting women and would like some tips for how to approach them that will make them at least more open and receptive to me, even if nothing becomes of it. Also, what are some examples of being approached that turns you OFF, so I make sure not to do that. Thanks. if he can put at least 3 words together to make a coherent sentence after an all-nighter of hard core drinking, then he´s got my attention...

Ohhh heck it don't matter how they approach me as long as they have a sense of humor and can carry on a conversation even if it is about how blue the sky is.....

Thanks. confidence and honesty set apart the men from the boys cheesy lines are a turn off, just a 'how are you, would you like to have dinner some time?' is much more attractive than 'hey, you wanna hook up later,,,' but its mostly personal preference so Im sure there is someone for everyone and women that are more turned on by cheese than formalities too |

Shshhs just say hi and say something either intelligent or funny and then make sure you can carry on a conversation after you get it started. 
Myself I prefer one that has a sense of humor......  But.........can carry on a conversation as well....
