I am not trying to be rude here BUT I think YOU need to be the parent and show them who the boss is. It sound like you are not always there when they do things..how on earth did they have time to do all of that IF you were watching them? When they are that age..you have to be with them every single minute!!
I have 2 boys, 22 and 15..I spanked my boys when they did bad things. You can spank them just not beat them. I truly believe this is what is wrong with parents today...they don't believe in spanking their children, look at these young kids coming up!! They have no respect towards anyone!!

lol i have 2 sons so i know how you feel,just remember few thinks' never say you can not,not allowed or so,because as soon you turn around they will do it, tell them a horrible stories about knife,microwave,cooker and other,make sure your facial expresion are scary enough, think ahead of your child_ show him who is in control,in case they are naughty ignore them,nothink works better,remember they loves you,they only wants to pleased you,be strong,remember they only have a little brain ,they can not be more clever than you lol

I for 1 had 2 daughters 16 months apart. They were not bad kids in that they didnt whine,throw tantrums,no crying at bed time etc. BUT they were BUSY from morning to bed time. You have to keep on top of them ALL the time..keep them in the same room as you are..even if u are bathing.But most importantly..as far as their behavior goes is that there is NO grey area...whats not allowed today is not allowed tomorrow or the next and there WILL be consequences EVERY TIME. Consistancy goes a long way. and yes i did spank my kids. They have grown up to be great teens. Please dont confuse parenting and friendship...your kids will love you for it.

I have four children twin five year olds a three year old and a two year old....I am single mother as well

They are active, yes they get into things yes doing it on your own can be very overwhelming,

You want to help them, remember to help yourself....

Be consistent with rules and consequences, its hard if its newly implemented

Make sure you get breaks and have a good support system friends family and what not

Try to make "fun" time for you and the kids positive interaction will help alleviate some of the negative acting out
