Don't forget they would invite other trees over. Those trees would bring more trees... I mean, **** man, newark can get trees just walking down the road. |

I believe we do have a soul mate out there. Whether we find him/her or don't....well...that is up to us. I honestly believe that people, especially in today's world, are just way to content to be with someone....anyone. And, they trick themselves into believing that they have met their soulmate when the fact is...they haven't. Being with someone for awhile, and then breaking up with them doesn't mean (to me) that they were your soulmate for that period of time in your life. Just means that they were who you were with, and that they were a piece to the puzzle. I mean. Think about it. If you break it off with someone, then you have learned life lessons. And, if you are wise, you will learn what to not look for in the next person you date....or marry. Anyways, I haven't met mine either. Thought I had, but she turned out to be just a piece to the puzzle. I'm sure I will meet my soul mate one day. When will that happen? Wish I knew. All for you baby! |

Do you believe soulmates exist? Why or Why not? What is your definition of a soulmate? Do you think everyone has a soulmate? What does it take to realize a mate is the "one"? Most people have the WRONG idea as to what a soulmate is..a soulmate is NOT always someone that you view in a romantic way..a soulmate is just a person with whom you've shared many life times with..But the roles you play in each others lives can and often do change from life to life. |

In a romantic sense I don't believe in the term"soul mate"per se.I'm more inclined to believe in the term "significant other".

I do believe in soul mates. I also believe we have more than one. We learn and grow from each. Soul mates? Gag. My parents, grandparents, and greatparents would totally disagree with the notion of "Soul Mates". A soul mate is who you want to be with in that moment because that's what you're feeling. Back in the day...we used to call it "being in love with love"-or "puppy love".......with all due respect. Soul Mate is a very commercially appealing "phrase" that says everything and nothing. It's a cheap substitute for the ... DRUM ROLL PLEASE...... Real Thing. Nice... |

A soulmates could be any significant other, however in mythology one story about soulmates, presented by Plato's Symposium states "that humans originally consisted of four arms, four legs, and a single head made of two faces, but Zeus feared their power and split them all in half, condemning them to spend their lives searching for the other half to complete them"
The myth has taken on many challenges today, and some don't believe in the ancient Greek mythology.. |

wow i keep seeing this soulmate question there really must be r&b singers from australia actually i don't believe in the soulmate theory cause people don't have souls, why do i say this cause its simple i'm an atheist I'm a huge athiest myself but I do believe in soulmates. I guess I don't look at it as that kind of "soul", more just that you were meant to be together and you know it and can just feel it. I guess it kind of goes along with that "everything happens for a reason" saying. If just one little thing in your life happened different it could change your whole life. Sorry, I just got off work and lost my train of thought and forgot where I was going with that. lol I'll just shut up and answer the original question with a yes. lol |

To reply to the topic, I am not really sure if soul mates are actually real. But I have read before that in this world, there is always one person waiting for another. When you meet, when you finally get to look into that pair of eyes, everything in your past and all thoughts of the future will lose all importance, and the only thing that exists will be that moment and the incredible certainty that everything under the sun was written by the same hand, the hand that awakens love and makes a twin soul for everyone.

I've always said the past relationships are but mere stepping stones to the one you should be with..... A true Soul Mate only death will separate you. |
