Topic: Move Bush's Book Where It Belongs

George Bush's memoir Decision Points releases this Tuesday, November 9. Join Waging Nonviolence in helping bookstores around the country correctly shelve and categorize this book. Move Bush's memoir to the Crime section of the store (the Fiction, Science Fiction, and Humor sections are also applicable), take a picture of your handiwork, and post it to the wall of this event page on Facebook.

If you prefer not to inconvenience the store's staff, just reshelve the book long enough to take a picture and then put it back.

This nonviolent action is inspired by the recent movement in England where thousands of people reshelved Tony Blair's memoir, A Journey, to the crime, horror, and dark fantasy sections of book stores, and even the toiletries aisle of supermarkets.

So come out on Tuesday and put Dubya where he belongs.

I am trying to determine whether these people hate Bush for no reason or just don't understand how our government works with the House, Senate, and President.

I can only imagine Bush's book will make it to the #1 spot the first week it is released.I might buy it if was really cheap but I don't think it is really telling us anything we already didn't know.

I disagreed with him on many of his policy choices, but he was a classy man. He got up early every morning to make coffee and bring it to his wife while she was still in bed. He did this while President of the USA. That speaks volumes about his character and his love and dedication to his wife.

Edit: Corrected a spelling error.

He loves his wife and family more then anything else in this world. Everytime he gave an interview he always talked about her and what an amazing woman she is and how she changed his life for the better and saved him.

He also helped a lot of people. He also protected America by taking drastic measures. There is no questions he loved his country.

He also never sent the Dali Llama out the garbage exit.

Not to mention paying(out of pocket) to have an executive office for him and his staff and had a really nice house built for his security detail and Presidential staff members at his ranch in Crawford, that way when he took a vacation he could actually run the country. All of this was out of pocket and he took no reimbursements.

That says a lot right there also.

I think it was Andy Borowitz who wrote that BUush's greatest regret during his presidency was never finding out how My Pet Goat ends.
