Undeniably pleasurable for both concerned although sadly I must say that my words fell upon a deaf ear in past. There lies no ill feelings or regret for I've learned to move forward & grow.It is imperative that you choose your significant other wisely.Godspeed!Cy

I have with my darling nephews ... but would love it with a S/O ehem... “If you really want to hear about it, the first thing you'll probably want to know is where I was born, and what my lousy childhood was like, and how my parents were occupied and all before they had me, and all that David Copperfield kind of crap, but I don't feel like going into it, if you want to know the truth.” |

People. Thought electric lights sounded cheesy 150 years ago...and if you have ever watched a movie based on a book you have basically allowed the director to read you his story a movie is wayyy different. having someone read a book to me as if i can't, sounds weird. i'd rather just read on my own. |

Oh c'mon, you enjoyed it when I read you Gone With The Wind while inhaling helium. that's about the only time i enjoyed having someone read to me. |

No one ever reads to me, but I'd like it. I'm mostly thinking of books on CD. haha You just want someone to read A. N. Roquelaure's Sleeping Beauty Trilogy to you. |

Absolutely its fun. I read to my Bff as she battled cancer...I used to love reading with my kids...and reading erotica and other things with a lover is awesome. That's really nice Venus. |

I want to read a Richard Laymon novel to someone, just to see their reaction when it gets to the nasty bits.

I'm rather surprised at the comments of those who haven't or think it's strange, pfarro.
I will read things aloud to other people, and have tried with the S/O's. I had one guy who hated it, and the others were indifferent. Friends seem to enjoy it, though. My folks were good about different voices as they read to us growing up, and I do that when I read out loud. It's good practice in general. Heck, the other night I was sitting on the floor and the new pup, Freckles, was sitting there staring/aggravating me. I half-jokingly started reading out loud to him, laughing at him twisting his head like an owl as he listened, he ended up curling up next to me like a child watching me flip the pages and continue reading to him. It was adorably funny. |
