Paid my registration, didnt pass smog, went to mechanic, got a parking ticket at my own house, cus I didn't pass smog, did not recieve my regstrtn stkr, went back to smog, failed again=-======the gov dont want to buy me a new car, HELL NO< they wont allow me to drive it---already got one ticket just parking in front of my house!!! ********!!!!! Now I have to go back MONDAY AGAIN> this has gone on since july. F-ING DMV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yay, i hate them all, I had to go to police station becuase i got a fix it ticket which I couldve gotten signed off once my smog was approved but it wasnt now my ticket grace period is expired and set to double in fees------

This is what you need to do. You need to go to the DMV (COUGH COUGH) and get a temporary tag. It goes in the back window. With that and the proof of paid registration and the failed smog test paperwork you can fight the ticket. I bet they ticketed you for parking a vehicle with expired registration.

The temporary tag gets you 30 days to fix it. Now since I cannot read your failed smog test results from here I cannot tell you what the most likely cause of the problem is.

I also have no clue what your knowledge in cars' mechanical systems is and also how old the vehicle is and what make. All I can say is you need to get the temporary tag to spare you any more misery. You can also get a 1 time "get out of smog free" from the DMV which gives you a year to either fix the car or retire it. If you retire it you an get up to $1000 predisposing the vehicle qualifies.

The DMV sucks but knowing what I know saves me some major headaches. They do not privilege ANYTHING information wise to you. You have to find out about this stuff yourself which is a crooked operation or just shady to me. Shame on the DMV for being such A holes!
