right now ive got windows black on my computer with a linksus wireless usb wireless router for the internet and i find that every day sometimes 2 times a day i have to go downstairs and reset the router for my computer to reconnect to the internet.

a friend told me i can but unbuntu on a flash drive and it will fix my problems of being constantly loosing signal.well i downloaded it and when i go to put it on my computer i get this message


"cannot download the metalink therefore the iso"


umm yeah you lost me at cannot download...

here are my questions if i install ubuntu will this stop my frequent issues of loosing signal and how the heck do i fix this issue?!
