For my birthday a couple of weeks ago, my parents gave me 2 sessions with a personal trainer at my gym. The personal trainer that I was given I absolutely LOVE. He is like a freakin' machine! He's such an inspiration to me.

He just got back from doing the Ironman Triathlon Championships over in Kona, HI. They give you 17 hours to swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles and run 26.2 miles. He finished in just a little over 9.0 hours. He came in in like 209th place or something out of thousands.

Anyway, I had my first visit with a personal trainer today. I loved it, however, my arms now feel like jello. I've never really done alot of weights. I've just done alot of cardio, but we did alot of weights tonight. I can't wait to go back next week.

I hope I can afford to have him be my personal trainer for a while.

Personal trainers are nice to have. But they are rather expensive. They will give you good advice and work your body hard for results. Not too hard though. It just depends on where you go.

Yep, personal trainers are rather steep. There is a lot you can do without a personal trainer. The way they help the most is it gives you someone to pressure you to do what you need to right for results.

Yes, they are steep. My personal trainer is $35 a session! Eeek. I've got to look at my budget to see if I can afford him. I really want to be able to afford him 'cause I know he can help me improve my times on my triathlons.
