I don't live in London and I've never even been there, so I was guessing on the lighting situation. I'm willing to bet that your outdoor lights are no better than the ones in the US, which means that the light isn't very good at illuminating details, regardless of how much light there is.

Having lived in London and being in London city around 11pm last night, I know it was a quiet night in town. It was raining cats and dogs and this generally kep the majority of people away.

Saw the footage on the news.............. too real for me, my son was in London at this time, he went clubbing.Did my heart stop? I'm still holding my breath .

And now Glasgow, although they are not sure that it is a terrorist attack...

They do seem to have links to the london car bombs...

That was this mornings news. I was just pointing to the man who got out and doused his self with gasoline, then lighting it!
I dont think that was a ploy, or a conspiracy!

It's because of Salmon Rushdie being knighted, that really pissed off a lot of Muslims. Normally these sorts of attacks are well thought out and planned, but they appearantly want to respond quickly to the knighting.
