Thongs are underwear..I think you are talking about flip-flops. I think thongs should be for older girls...like in high school. I think some parents just don't control their daughter in the early stages BUT that doesn't mean that she will be into drugs...that is kind of assuming things way to much!! I think parents want to be friends with their daughters instead of being a role model...one day, they will be sorry!! what BLOWS!! my mind is i Have NEVER!! heard thongs to be called underwear..... i have always known them to be called flip flops or thongs.. flip flops are for your feet and thongs are for covering your girl parts so there underwear |

i would agree that was rude from someone that doesnt know me
my own son calls me once in awhile old lady but its funny the way he puts it and i have to tell you tinker0090 im 46yrs old a mother of 2 and grandmother of 3 and my own mother even calls the thongs(slip ons thongs) you can call her old she DONT!! look her age |

ok first off i did start to wear thongs pretty young and i did get into trouble pretty early over it i was to young, and second i really don't understand how anyone thought she was talking about flip flops you can wear them any time or any age who cars

To avoid confusion, the name of the shoes was changed to "flip-flops" Queene did not understand that the underwear is now called "thongs" |

she didnt explain herself from the beganing thats why i was pist at what she was saying.. for i always knew thongs and flip flops were the same thing.. never heard of a thong to be considered undewear... never heard such a thing... |

did she have pants on over them? It doesnt matter, if a girl is wearing a thong and her pants cant stay up on her hips she should be wearing regular briefs. if you cant drive a car you definitely should not be wearing those. |

I grew up in the 80's and 90's and always thought of thongs as underwear. Personally I hate thongs, and as ms. harmony said, no child of mine will wear them until they are in their own place.
Like some of the others i never knew flip-flops were called thongs...then again I never wore flip flops lol. |

I'm the same way. Nothing like that is acceptable to me.
would you let your daughter wear thongs or g-strings if there really young, no, but in our home there are no piercings or body art allowed until one is grown and out of our home,,,, it sends a poor message in my opinion and attracts the wrong types of people to them,,,, once they are grown (self sufficient) it is their choice to make, but in my home it doesnt fly,,, |
