my first ex, whom I've met 2 years ago, was waaaaaay too mature for me. He put work and education before having fun, and expected me to do the same. He didn't really like to laugh or do fun things.

and then I met my most recent ex last june. He was from mingle and very childish, but all he cared about was making out with me and stuff. Apparently he wasn't ready for a relationship because after he left that morning I never heard from him again.

I think you are too hot for a boy friend, too eager for a commitment, and have a lot of predisposed notions.

First and foremost you gotta have a certain amount of personal responsibility and when you put fun before bills you create a red flag for any guy who would seriously commit to you. There is Nothing wrong with wanting to have fun. Seriously but the bills do not pay themselves in the real world.

I have a feeling you let aesthetics (looks) influence a lot of your decision making and also age. My guess is you met older men that click well with you but then they look like your dad or something and that ruins it for you. My youthful appearance has been a curse more than a blessing until recently. I got a life where I barely get to have any fun but I am working towards a future where I don't have to sacrifice my body to old age and retirement to enjoy some of what is left of the world that has not been destroyed by mankind! it is a cold and really cruel world out there.

At your age you should be thinking about what to do with yourself more than run around like some boy hungry little barbie doll. I am not being cold. I am just telling you what it really is like out there. You should seek a relationship that allows you to grow but you have to want to be someone and not some plaything becasue some rich boy can afford to have fun with you all the time.

If your idea of fun is hanging around all day and playing video games all day you are not going to find anyone serious and anyone who will commit. On top of that you are up against the whole "Does she put out?" mentality of guys your age!

Some of your words are a little alarming too the way you complain about guys over 30 hitting you up. UM! Most human males really do not think about settling down UNTIL THEY REACH (sorry, had to fix this sentence) 30 and also men at this age are like hungry dogs sniffing out a free meal like any ANY men of any age.

I seriously swear you don't have a clue what you really want in life and that is leading to relationship confusion. Hey, we all want what we want. But do you honestly and really know what you want?

BTW, the reason you never heard from the last guy was you prolly didn't even let him get what he hoped for and I will give you props for not letting someone else make you do something you didn't want to do! But face it, don't talk commitment and also say abstinence in the same sentence. That sends Boys running!
