I think the truest christian meaning is loving christ and living through the example of christ and recognizing his life and sacrifice for our sins in a generic meaning, it is simply giving of yourself to 'help' or save others in a cultural meaning, it is having st nick reward good children with gifts,,lol |

No I don't know about your area but the dollar tree store has some really nice things from candy to figurines and end everything in between

In my mind it is about spending time with family and or friends... I no longer buy into the commercial hype of Xmas since prices go up ahead of time and come back down after it. I know I should buy early, but all those cool items hit the stores about that time of year. |

Okay getting back on track, to me the true meaning is not about the gifts, its about being with family and loved ones sharing love and times together besides I love the holiday food
