English mainly, they used to riot at football games in the U.K. By football I mean the real football, what is terribly referred to as soccer here. |

I was just going to say it's a term for troublemakers, silliness and all .. but heck I like Fear's answer MUCH better .. I should have known it would be wrapped around football. I don't care which version.
