HEllo, I'm siting here missing Alaska -lived at Ft Greely, Ak...about 100 miles southeast of Fairbanks. What I loved about being in Alaska is that your instincts become alive...I grew up out in the country and in the woods its great. (I used to hunt with my dad). When you're out in the woods there, you have to be alert, your life may depend on it. I loved it. Its you against the elements (and animals) :)

I was in alaska and the yukon in July.Its the most beautiful place I have ever seen.But not sure I could take the rain all summer and the really bad winters. But it is magnificant!!

I spent a summer working in Alaska, near Mt McKinley..it was one of the greatest adventures of my life...!!
