Good Morning! Rain and 37 here this morning but snow coming this afternoon.. grrr Got my tree up and found out I have a xmas mouse in my house...lol The cat kept watching the closet door last night and then this morning when I got up I saw it run across the floor back into the closet.. lol

Good morning, friends. My mechanic friend, Oscar got the new windshield put in. It looked really nice. He said it was really low on oil and put four cans in. He got the new wheel bearing and holder put in on the passenger side. He was telling me what a real pain getting the back bench seat out was. But he got it opened. The little solenoid would click when you pushed the button to open the hatch but it was jambed some how. He had to take his Jeep to get the wheel bearing and holder the second time since the first time we got soaked in rain. He fixed his power steering on his 85 Chevy truck but we are driving the 'money pit' to Buckeye's to get the front seats. I was wanting to give him the full hundred dollars for labor but I need gas money till the 15th when Kathy gets her retirement check. I am going to see if there is an air conditioner for the van though I am not really worried about the air conditioner working in this weather. I was amazed that he could still be in good humor with his last wisdom tooth still hurting him. He had obtained a button piece for the back window defroster but will pull wiring at the junkyard since the 86 has part of the wiring but not all. He said the back wiper for the hatch was broke, too so we are going to see if we can get one of those, too. Its just like Christmas shopping for me.

Good morning, Carole. We postponed the trip to Buford as my mechanic's tooth was still bothering him very much. The Anbesol is helping but he said he knew if he got out in the cold it would affect his disposition. So we are waiting to Thursday to make the trip to the junkyard. Theoretically, it is supposed to warm up by then and I will have money to pay for more parts. I just got back from getting some Chill from Harp's grocery store. I noticed a lady buying some there this morning, too. Chili just seems like a good breakfast this morning. Have you ever wondered why something so hot and warm could be named something cold?
