I don't think being alone is a punishment. For me, it's a choice until I meet someone great. I don't want a "placeholder". When I find the right person it will be partly good timing, partly common sense and a whole lot of patience!

I do not think being alone is a punishment! I also stayed single by choice,waiting for the right one to come along! But I think it may run through some peoples thoughts once in awhile. And when I found him,I never exspected to get just what I was looking for!

Im alone based on choice, well everything is based on choice i suppose. but meaning no-one left me, we split ways. I am hoping to find better for the second half of my life. Havent really gone out too much, a few dates here and there but not ready for a new commitment that would lead to something potentially serious because i am mother of 3. I hope when they are older I will have a chance to settle down again with the new love of my life whomever he might be. No rush. just feel like flirtin around for now and having a good time chilling out with random people.
