IT scares me |

What are some of the things that scare you off when you meet new people? If a man says "hi sexy" to me when we barely know each other this turns me off. How about you? Bragging, too much ex talk or running the ex down, prejudice talk, asking too many personal questions too soon, running themselves down, a whole list of excuses for why they live with their parents and haven't had a job in 5 years (unless disabled or rich enough not to have to work), etc... |

Any number of things can scare me off, or rather I should say put me off... Having a penchant for drama, (life is NOT a movie) stating that they're excessively busy, (why bother then?) having elaborate shopping lists, (get real!) being needy, (sooo draining) unrealistic expectations,( again, get real!) being overly ridged and set in their ways,( big problem!) poor self image or low self esteem, (seek counseling, not a relationship) materialistic to a fault,( can you take it with you?) unwillingness to compromise, (more common than you might think) addiction, (no explanation required) inability to see the big picture, ("there's more to heaven and earth") skewed perceptions of what's important in life,(really now...How important is keeping up with the neighbors or your landscaping?) major issues with their children or ex's,(big red flag) Motorcycle mama's,(loud, proud & don't care who knows it) never having a LTR,( unless you're under the age of 25 or so, where have you been?) co-dependent tendencies,(been there and I aint goin back!) overly religious or atheistic, ( moderation is a good thing, no?) tendency to sweat the small stuff, ( Oh no! you say they stopped making your favorite hair coloring???) overly independent, (sharing is a good thing) conceitedness, ( I know you're gorgeous and a brainiac, but sheesh already...) control freak,( I'll choose my own wardrobe, thank you very much) intimacy issues, ( I'm sorry about your evil ex's but that wasn't me babe) and on and on... It would be easier to list what doesn't scare me off... Hence, why Allen won't speak to me anymore. 1. Racist remarks 2. Rude to waiters 3. Addiction 4. Abusive in any way 5. Saying I've been promised to them by God (yeah ... it's happened ) 6. Arrogance I thought I explained that to you the other night???? He really did!!!! |

Women who stalk me, and then inform me that "Hey, how come you were on facebook and didn't send me a message???" or "I saw you checked the email I sent you but you didn't respond".
After a while they start to freak me out, being obsessed, it's like I can't do a damn thing without being watched. |

Me not driving a car this year seems to be the deal breaker for the last five or seven women I have tried to go out with. Southern california is a very materialistic place.

Me not driving a car this year seems to be the deal breaker for the last five or seven women I have tried to go out with. Southern california is a very materialistic place. East Coast too. Sold my benz..now drive a VW Jetta, women couldn't care less anymore. And at that point on i refuse to let the know that I got another car and a motorcycle too. They failed the materialistic-test so it's too late after that. |

The funny thing is, the only thing I would use my car for is to say yes to the question "do you have a car?" and be able to get a date. I have a wal mart about 50 feet from my house, three bars/resturants, a sushi place, a liquor store, a grocery store, a costco, two starbucks, five fast food places, a department store, and a home depot within a mile of my house. Driving to the places I walk would actually take more time. The bus outside the walmart takes me to a train that can take me anywhere in southern california. |
