A flag is more then just a piece of cloth to the majority of Americans. than that majority shouldnt desecrate one if they purchase it but if anyone chooses to desecrate THEIR OWN property(whatever it is),, its their business... someone destroying their own property would not be upheld as reason to fear for your personal safety no it would be, "Your honor, this person while in the middle of a violent and threatening demonstration yelled profanities at me and came twords me making me fear for my safety to the point where I had to defend myself" I know how to word a police report and testify in court. I also know all the penal codes and how to talk to the cops(not to mention im friends with most of them), I wouldn't be going to jail anytime soon. |

A flag is more then just a piece of cloth to the majority of Americans. than that majority shouldnt desecrate one if they purchase it but if anyone chooses to desecrate THEIR OWN property(whatever it is),, its their business... I volunteer in the community atleast ten hours a week. That's on top of all the political work I do working on over five to ten campaigns at a time. well congrats to you...true american what do your kids do during all this campaign time,,sorry I just put my kids above politics, my 'free' time(when Im not being a mother, running errands, cooking meals, cleaning, doing laundry, or reading with my child) is spent studying, trying to stay fit, and working to earn my degree and looking for employment, I give (although not to political campaigns)when and where I can and single parenthood doesnt allow me a set schedule of FREE hours, I do what I can during the times I can Kid's? I only have one and she goes with me. She loves politics more then I do, and she's really good at campaigning. She even got to ride around with Governor Gibbons and I in the campaign bus for a weekend, just 4 of us in there. Not many kids her age get to experience things like that and it is partially why I am as involved as I am. thats great, and I am not being fecetious,,,when my daughter is older (she is still too young for school, only three) I plan to get her involved in a ministry to help others too I care more about how people treat each other and carry themself than I do about a design on some cloth or what lapel they choose to wear or not wear,,,,,,, if thats not true american,,,than so be it It's not just a design on a piece of cloth. It is a symbol of America and what we are fighting for. as a christian, I dont put materials on a pedastal a cross is supposedly the SYMBOL of christs sacrifice, but if SOMEONE buys a cross and then chooses to throw it in the fire,, I really dont care,,, thats THEIR property to do as they wish, and its more about the things they do and say in their life than what property they own or what they choose to do with it I dont have issue with anyone who praises or worships the flag, thats their choice I just choose not to,,,for the reasons stated before,,, Throwing a cross is different then trowing an American Flag. Personally if I saw someone destroy an American Flag they would be getting dealt with and going to jail will be the least of their concerns. so nice to know such law abiding americans are out there willing to uphold the 'true' american way,,,

I guarantee I wouldn't be charged with ANYTHING. of course . 'TRUE' americans are much to sly to admit to or be caught in their own wrongdoing,,,TRUE americans are always justified in the harm they cause,,,
Self defence and fear for my safety is justifiable under US laws. Id love to hear the sound legal reasoning behind that 'your honor, I saw him burn his (shirt, homework, flag) and I thought my life was in danger'
someone destroying their own property would not be upheld as reason to fear for your personal safety no it would be, "Your honor, this person while in the middle of a violent and threatening demonstration yelled profanities at me and came twords me making me fear for my safety to the point where I had to defend myself" I know how to word a police report and testify in court. I also know all the penal codes and how to talk to the cops(not to mention im friends with most of them), I wouldn't be going to jail anytime soon. oh, so perjury AND assault because of what someone chose to do with their own property? how TRULY american,,, |

It is a symbol of America and what we are fighting for. think about it... what is more anti American... destroying a flag, or disrupting a fallen soldiers funeral? both are a negative on the country, but if i saw someone acting lick a nuttick at a soldiers funeral, i would make sure they thought twice about it before they did it again. |
