Nah can't blame him a bit. I remember the Louisville teams when he was here. They used to light it up.

Charlie Strong will make Louisville good again. I watched some of the game between Louisville and Kentucky and you can already see that the kids are buying into what Strong wants to do.

Petrino is a good coach. Smartest thing he did was when Mallet was wanting out at Michigan, Petrino made sure that Mallet knew that Arkansas wanted him. Petrino is a great recruiter and he will keep Arkansas as a good, strong program. I believe that the only coach in the SEC West that he hasn't beaten is Saban. But he has his best chance to do that this year.

I loved the choice of Charlie Strong. I agree he will have Louisvilles program back on track in no time. They did battle Kentucky which has a pretty good team this year. Of course they won't compete in the SEC but might suprise a few......smokin

as far as Boise goes,i still think they need to play better teams than what they do if they want to prove that they're National Championship ready and to see if their QB is as good as everyone gives him credit for

Moore is as good as advertised. But VT blew that game by throwing the ball on 3rd and 8....and Boise had no time outs.

Boise State 33 - Virginia Tech 30

Thats all there is to it.

Their #3 ranking is pretty well qualified.

True. But the fact that they play in the Mountain West will still come back to haunt them. Is it fair? Nope. But it is what it is.

This is actually the last year they play in the WAC.

Next year is in the Mountain West.

Not that it makes it better.

I would LOVE it if BSU was in the PAC-10 (soon to be PAC-12???)

But you play the games on your schedule.

Trivia. When and who did the Brocos lose to in their last regular season loss???

I'm pretty sure location has little to do with anything anymore.

The WAC has Louisiana Tech......and Hawaii.....

i know the Big 12 tried to get Arkansas to join them this year but why would they wanna do that?the SEC pays a hell of a lot better than the Big 12

That Boise State vs. VT game last night was awsome. Once again the under rated Boise State Broncos. Traveled across the country and "upset" a team in thier own back yard. I say upest because even though Boise State was ranked third and Higher then Virginia Tech. A lot of people still considered them the underdogs.

The fire works were on display last night. Boise State never seems to disappoint. And they always see to find ways to win these tyes of games. Credit the coaching staff with that.

Boise State kind of reminds me of Penn State of the 1980's. They win games they aren't supposed to win. They do it with a tough defense, a physical offense and throw in some excellent special teams play for fun. On top of it all the BCS seems to have it out for them. By literally screwing them out of chances to play for the National title. Just like they used to do to Joe Paterno and the Nittany Lions throughout the 80's.

The question is, if Boise State runs the table and goes for thier third, Undefeated season in a row. Will they get the chance to play for the national title. Or will the BCS, write them off and put them in a constelation game with this seasons other Non BCS conference buster?
