You tube is not valid news.

People can alter the videos, so you can't trust anything on you tube to be accurate.

slaphead

Just like CNN!

No doubt since CNN trails in the polls behind Fox News on the most trusted.

Right. YouTube isn't valid but MSLSD, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, C-SPAN, HuffPo, Slate, Salon, DailyKOS, 'AirAmerika', NYT, and Democratic Underground ARE, right ... ? That's the way it works ... ? We can trust THEM ... ? It is to laff ... whoa

African Diaspora

The geneology (the family tree)of many people in the USA include branches that extend into Africa.

Tracing our family heritage and claiming all the branches of that tree as our own is not only a way to connect with the past, it is also a way to connect with the current global community.

My great grandparents immigrated here from Germany, but I do not consider myself a German - American. I am a United States citizen, and I reside in the United States, therefore I am an American. I personally see no sense in the hyphen American thing. You are an American or not, plain and simple. As far as the global community... no thanks, I'll pass, I would rather be an American.

If people insist on being a 'hyphenated' American, how come 'American' doesn't come BEFORE the hyphen ... ? Like in 'American-African' or 'American-Irish' ... ? Guess that shows a little too much pride in BEING American for those types ... but hey, at least y' can tell where their loyalties are ... and they ain't here ... The 'global community' ... ? How often do any of 'em come over for dinner ... ? Screw them - what have they done for US lately ... ?
