Topic: Agnostic/Atheist Sunday In Arkansas | |
---|---|
Arkansas residents finally have a break from the 100 degree temps and I am waking up with a desire to get out instead of lounging around enjoying coffee on Sunday mornings while reading the online newspapers as I normally do. A load of clothes are drying which I will have to tend to and then I will hop on a bike, being extra attentive to the Sunday traffic to prevent being ran down by someone speeding to church. There are no special bike trails where I live.
One of the perks of living in the bible belt is that getting a seat for a nice brunch is not a problem if you time it right and lines at businesses (excluding the drive thru food places) are short on Sunday mornings. I will be treated like a celebrity with my choice of seating so I wake up feeling like I am queen on a lovely day like today, as long as I decide what I want to do and get there by 11 a.m. Biking and brunch or take the dogs out to a mountain path? What a lovely Sunday this is. I'd love to hear about favorite Sunday places haunted by Agnostics/Atheists/Nondeists. |
