As most know I'm moving west next week, so I'm doing a giant
yard sale over the nest few days.
I had a fully stocked pantry that my boys had already gone
through yet was still full to the brim with canned goods
and such. I had a woman come over today who is a single RN,
out of work with 5 children between the ages of 4 and 12.
I gave her the entire pantry..all of it, and had my boy
carry it to her van for her. She has enough food to feed her
kids for at least a month. She was crying, hugging
me, thanking me. Then after she left I was in
tears...what a wonderful feeling she left me with for the day.
Little acts of kindness make such a difference... I believe
we can change our world by doing such things.

I have a truck from the local Catholic church coming to pick up a lot of items, furniture and clothing from me today, plus a donation. It's great to free yourself from excess and give it to those that are truly needy.
