well if the game is anything to go by then the film should be just as good:smile:

One thing it has going for it- Uwe Boll wasn't involved!

Hahaha! So cruel, but I have to agree with you. I've watched a lot of his movies and was disappointed.

No video game is safe from that man.

I watched BloodRayne, which I think was the worst of the lot.

Uli Lommel is another one, he created one of the most disturbing movies- Tenderness of the Wolves 1973, and I really like The Boogeyman '80....but now he's doing horrendously bad "real life" serial killer movies- BTK, Nightstalker, Son Of Sam, Killer Nurse.....Not to mention his awful sequels to The Boogeyman: The Boogeyman 2(which was mostly footage from the first film), and Return Of The Boogeyman. And the yawn-inducing Devonsville Terror.

There's a punk band called The Voluptuous Horror Of Karen Black.

Karen Black of course most famous for her role in the classic TV anthology Trilogy Of Terror.

Speaking of TV horror....I'm curious about the Don't Be Afraid of the Dark remake....how often does that happen? A theatrical remake from a TV movie.

I looked for articles of that and it does sound interesting, but that has happened before with Twilight Zone, right?

True. The Twilight Zone Movie was comprised of remakes from the series. I heard rumors of a new TZ movie.

There's also TV movies getting re released into the theaters- they did this with Spielberg's Duel.

Now I'm in the mood for some 70's TV horror.

Left For Dead is excellent. I think the airport is my favorite part.

I also really enjoyed the Land Of The Dead tie-in video game.

The Land Of The Dead game has you playing a farmer who tries to make his way to the enclosed city. You'll hear radio broadcasts which describe things that are happening from the movie.

I like Land a lot, I also really liked Diary Of The Dead. I liked that Romero was doing the style of Cloverfield/Blair Witch, but also commenting on how attached we've become to technology.

I have to admit, I've never played those kind of games before. The last time I played was probably when Nintendo just came out with Super Mario Brothers. laugh

Actually I've never played them. I never had Nintendo back then, I might have played Friday The 13th if it was released for SEGA. And the Texas Chainsaw was for the Atari 2600 but I don't ever remember coming across it at the video store, I do remember playing Aliens and never getting the stupid ship to land!

Who is they guy with the gun on the cover of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

laugh

Back in the 80's Dance of the Dwarves was my introduction to films being released under multiple titles. I rented Dance of the Dwarves from the Horror section of the vid shop....then I'm not sure how much later I rented a film from the Action/Adventure section called Jungle Heat, took it home, and realized I was watching Dance of the Dwarves!
