any good waterfalls , swimming holes ?

There are several good waterfalls in the gorge. I am not sure about anything close to you other than the Silverton Falls. As far as swimming.... Wear sandals at least. Dips like to toss their empties into the water.

there is also west of you annis falls kentucky falls lower kentucky then up 138 there are at least 40 more falls
