Oh - sorry ... I read the header and thought it said 'Good Advice For Convicts' and I was all, like, well, why are we givin' advice to convicts here 'n all that but now I see I was wrong and so I'm, like, all sorry 'n stuff for the misunderstanding 'n like not reading it write the first time so wow, like, y'all don't be bein' angry 'n stuff on me, 'mkay, 'cuz, like, anybody can make a simple mistake like thinkin' it says 'convicts' when it really says like 'conflicts' and a mine really is a terrible thing ...

Wellllllll if you feel so inclined you could start a thread for that .. I just wouldn't know what to say, cuz I've never been one.

A convict that is.

So I'd have no advice very relative to their situation

I had a conflict with my car getting out of first gear and in reverse from a stop against a grade of elevation on my 5 speed Mazda 3. This terrified me because I did not want to back into a car with my brand new car of one week. Instead of sulking too much, I got out and practiced in the most challenging circumstances and learned to use my emergency break so I would not drift back. Is there a similarity between my experience and dealing with conflicts in a relationship?

Handle ALL relationship conflicts with this in mind:

How would you feel if you parted comapny, planning on meeting again.... & suddenly; one of you was gone & you could NEVER speak again.

Puts it in a totally different light?

Actually this happened when my mommy died. My 3 sisters were each in a "butting heads" situation with her & they have regretted ever since. She went to take a nap and never awoke. brokenheart I was blessed not to have had a conflict so do not have the lack of closure everyone else had.

My college prof used to say .. See everything from the viewpoint of 20 yrs from now. Will you even REMEMBER it??
