Topic: Where's Them Jobs At ... ? | |

Actually, unions need to disappear - they're just another Alinskyite mechanism for the advancement of Socialism ... the term 'collective bargaining' is a tip-off ... 'Collectivist' = 'Socialist' ... hint hint hint ... Unions have outlived any legitimate purpose they may have ever had - they are strictly a collectivist enterprise designed to advance a political agenda and have NOTHING to do with making the life of the workers they 'represent' better ... All they want from the workers are the DUES ... nothing else matters to them so long as the money keeps coming in so they can support their DemoCom candidates ... It's time for unions to be abolished.

It's time for unions to be abolished. they teach people not to care about what they doing workwise to. if someone can't get fired, even if they screwup. they tend to be lazy and don't give a crap about their work preformance. i thought the american auto makers learned that the hard way, esp. chevy, when they almost went out of business. at least they are making better autos now. |

I've worked enough trade shows in NJ, NY, and Chicago to have found out that you do NOT attempt to plug in your own TV / DVD displays or, in some cases, even try to set up your own tables - gotta get a member of the Carpenters Union to do that ... wanna plug something in? Get a member of the Electricians Union ... Screw that schit ... Unions are no longer needed, wanted, or useful. They are political parasites who bleed both their membership and society ... let 'em disappear - they won't be missed.

People won't miss unions until they need the union.
I paid my dues and wondered why until I needed my union lawyer at work. He worked for me for free. If the union isn't working the way it is supposed to the people need to fix their union but they should never forgo it because they may need it one day. |

The lawyer was great and I am not the only one who used the union at my job. So lots of people got help. Like I said you can do without it until you need it and then you will wish you had paid all those dues. |

Why am I not suprised by this reaction ... ? I'm not suRprised by yours ... just disappointed with the ignorant outbursts. and attempted strawman arguments relating to Socialism. Actually, unions need to disappear - they're just another Alinskyite mechanism for the advancement of Socialism ... the term 'collective bargaining' is a tip-off ... 'Collectivist' = 'Socialist' ... hint hint hint ... Unions have outlived any legitimate purpose can you see the attempted building of that strawman
they may have ever had you either know no history or just like to run at the mouth with implications to try and build your strawman argument … if you even know what that is
- they are strictly a collectivist enterprise designed to advance a political agenda and have NOTHING to do with making the life of the workers they 'represent' better ... All they want from the workers are the DUES ... nothing else matters to them so long as the money keeps coming in so they can support their DemoCom candidates ... bitter outsiders just don't know ... they scream ... With false authority Want tariffs and protectionism but when faced with union protectionism ... they scream unfair they don’t even see how their own statement nullifies a previous statement in their strawman world. anyone know how to say ... double standard. If you don't understand about presidents or business agents or how CEO's actually do work. you sure couldn't understand about senators or representatives of government either ... and just bytch bytch bytch using FOX rhetoric with authority. … but no spell check |

I can remember the stories of the abusive employers who had noone to control them or stand up for the workers. Wages were so low people couldn't live off them.
I am too young for being employed by one of these employers but I can foresee employers loving not having unions or the EEOC in the future. |

so you guys actually think with government, lawyers, and the speed of communication that we need unions? they are just a drain on the economy, with the only benefits of not getting fired. Every union i've seen, the laborers are useless, doing drugs on the job, lazy and whiny. the ONLY reason they had a job is because of the worthless union. Unions take advantage of stupid people that can't hold a job anywhere else.

The last attorney I went to wanted 1200 to procure a divorce, that was nearly a months pay for me,,,and having obtained certification as a paralegal, I know the paperwork can be obtained and done for oneself at the courthouse,,,I just didnt want to be bothered(until I saw an attorney) |
