is it a deadly sin? yeah, if you think of it as an uncontrollable urge,, anything uncontrolled has the potential to be chaotic,, and therefore, deadly |

Homosapiens remain the only animal to seek sexual intercourse for more than procreation......the sheer fact of sensory perception and enjoyment of sexual gratfication sets Hoposapiens seperately from the rest of the animal kingdom

Lust is deadly because it precludes the dignity of the human person. In short, it puts the sexual act before ones human sexuality which reaches perfection when man and woman embrace in the marital act; an act protected by vows and a community of witnesses.
Deadly = evil and evil is the absence of good. Therefore, the human sexual act is evil qua deadly when it is done outside of its protected bounds. |

lust is a battle for us all. Christians--both men and women--have struggled with it for generations. Many have measured their or others' spirituality on the basis of their freedom from lust. Yet for all the interest focused on lust it would seem that we ought to be far more clear about the problem and its solution. What exactly is lust, why is it so hard to change, and how can we deal with its power to shape our lives?

That's quite simple.
AVOID THE NEAR OCCASSION OF LUST Like the shirt you are wearing for instance can lead a man to think lustful thoughts....which lead to acts... Our fallen nature, or concupescience, leaves us wounded and inclinded toward the good yet compelled by the absence of it... When you avoid the near occassion of lust, you prevent the interaction of the intellect, will and soul and their desire to contemplate and therefore act upon it. |

"Sin is something made up in a story book written many years ago. "
Interesting thought... Guess we'll find out....when the smoke of this battle clears there will be winners and there will be losers... Heaven and Hell... Like I said... One of us is right and the sinner in me hopes it's you...but I'm not willing to bet eternity on it! |

Actually you are correct I forgot about the monkies......I do remember watching something about that on DSC Channel......but they are the only others so far found to engage in sexual stimulation enjoyments |
