I've mutual matched with a handful of guys. After I get the notice I have a mutual match, I email them. 99% of the time I never get a reply back - so I delete them.

I did mutual match a person last year and we dated for 7 months. He lived 3,000 miles away. It does work but don't have great expectations.

I just noticed you listed yourself as only wanting casual sex and an intimate encounter. More than likely you are not getting replies because most women are not interested in intimate encounters – which is why we can block anyone who lists “intimate encounter”. Not all, but the majority of people who want to “match” are probably interested in a deeper relationship.

I would never say that Mingle is not a place to be. This site is great for fostering friendships as well as matches. I have met many girlfriends too - not just men for dating.

Mingle has someone for everyone. There are girls who only want casual sex too but probably harder to find AND in your area. I mean, if all you want is sex - you have to meet someone in your area to have sex!

Mutual match means each person has clicked YES to the possible matches offered.

I receive matches that seek intimate encounters even though I don't list that as my criteria. I also get men shorter then 6.0, with kids, a listed religion, etc. I don't think the matches are very exact. I don’t mind. I like reading profiles. I still click "no" but I don't mind getting them.

If both peeps click "yes" then maybe criteria became inconsequential and they are interested anyway? That’s what can be very cool about a surprise profile.

I've clicked "yes" to a few with intimate encounter but since I have them "blocked" from emailing me, I have to email first if we mutual match. It usually fizzles out after a few emails because they don't want to have a conversation. Hey, at least I try!

Unfortunately for all of us - this boils down to attraction. Many times if a person doesn't reply, they are not interested for one reason or another.

You might want to add more pictures. You only have one that is distorted or has an effect on the image. Maybe you aren’t given a clear example of your appearance? We can't see your eyes and your hand is covering the rest of your face. Maybe they think you have bad teeth and only one eye? (j/k)
