It's real dry here to and I always have to moisturize. I use much of Merle Norman..I love the night cream and the wrinkle smoother. It's a bit pricey, my sister is an owner so I get every thing either free or cost...
Honestly I still like the good ole Avon Skin So Soft and still love and use the aloe vera. |

quite honestly Deb I am also a moisturizing guru. my skin is softer than many half my age. Coco Butter - especially if you use the solid from a jar is an excellent choice. I also exfoliate frequently.
avoid moisturizers that have water as one of the first few ingredients. My facial regime for nearly 30 years has been Noxzema and Oil of Olay. I'm trying a L'Oreal creme now because overall I like their products,(and I like it so far) but Olay facial products cannot be beat. Noxzema is excellent for cleansing if ur skin is dry. IMO Don't forget the facial scrubs dry skin tends to be flaky. Another thing that works well is baby oil - just plain $3 a bottle - nothing works better as a body moisturizer. As far as Coco Butter tho', I agree, it's great, and the scent is heavenly - love it! |

I use Cocoa Butter myself...the solid kind. After washing my face in the morning, I put a small amount on my face and I'm good for the rest of the day. I've tried other lotions for my face...my skin just sucks it up till it's dry again.
