Are there other chicas out there who are as TURNED OFF as I am to see guys in their 40's and up shirtless on here? So it's ok for men under 40 to be shirtless? It's kind of a double standard. There's women showing plenty of clevage, and that's ok because women say "If you got it flaunt it", and "men are visual." Then there are women in bikini bathing suits barely covering themselves. I don't see that as sexy, just lustfully advertising themselves. I'm not defending the men, but the women should be held to that same standard too. Ron |

I haven't read all the responses already, so sorry if mine is the same. If they want to post a shirtless picture, fine. But, some who do are way too arrogant for me and just assume that we'll be into them because they're showing off. It's not a selling point for me. It isn't going to make me contact them, whether they're good looking or not.

Personally I don't dress provocatively at ALL so I would never even have pics of myself with that kind of clothing (or lack of)to post here. Some people are much more comfortable in their skin whether we all like their bodies or not. I really don't enjoy seeing it as their main picture because that one I can't really avoid.

then who am I to question? If it doesn't appeal to me I simply ignore their pic/profile and move on?

Ron Well I don't throw my (.)(.)ies out there for the world to see so I don't think I hold a double standard at all. BUT .. if I did I wouldn't be doing it if they were falling to the floor. Everything in good taste is what I am suggesting. If a guy has man (.)(.)s and a gut .. for God's sake (and ours) put the friggin shirt on. That's all I'm sayin

I don't think it's just being comfortable in your own skin though. I have 2 sons and they've let me know what it looks like to men when a woman dresses provacatively. I also have one still in HS and the skirts are so short I honestly don't know WHY they even wear them. Ridiculous. Where did any type of modesty go? It's actually becoming to have SOME. And I agree. Why show everything when you could leave a mystery. |

Well I do believe you are the exception not the rule YR .. just sayin. I think most women agree an aging man's chest looks better covered. When I see one bared for the camera (or the lawnmower LOL) I either feel nauseated or hysteria sets in. I'm sorry
I know people age. We all do. But we should know our limits when it comes to flaunting what we have (or more importantly DON'T have)
