Should the standup arcade machines be brought back? I have a Rally X standup game that is awesome! What were some of your favorites?

2nd one was the best, although the first one was groundbreaking with its gore and blood and "finishing moves". |

I used to constantly have the high score on both Tempest and Super Mario Brothers.

I alternated between being a latchkey kid and an arcade kid (when I had quarters).
They still have arcades but they're insultingly expensive, even with inflation recognized, and they are always filled with drunks. |

The arcades have all that and more here.....took my son to the three arcades at the Ocean City Boardwalk yesterday. He rode this motorcycle game, the games moves with your body movements. They are amazing, but yeah I was a mojor pinball junky and still am. I still play Galaga to at the Pizza Place and Air Hockey. Its sad how many closed....but with too many kids not leaving their living rooms anymore, what can ya say?

If that's the one where you can shift into different creatures they ported it onto the Genesis and called it "Altered Beast". That was one of the coolest games ever. |
