To me it doesn't matter where we go as long we can talk. Fast food wouldn't be my first choice. If he want to go cheap I wouldn't care but would hope that we could think of something better than fast food. Maybe a picnic on the beach or in a park?? Those are great suggestions as well. Which most would enjoy a bit more..... Hey hot dogs from the cart in the park would be great or the beach if you happen to live in areas that have either of those things........

We don't have hot dogs from the cart in a park. Although that does sound very lovely. Well we don't either nor is there a beach where I live............ I prefer somewhere that is public for the first meet and plenty of people around me....I will not go for the park thing here the first time that would be too secluded in order to be with them the first time...... I'll go to that Whataburger, Wendy's or Jack-in-the Box instead instead of the more private areas.... |

The one park we have is always full of tons of people. So that one I would go to but I would go somewhere too private.
We also have a very classy coffee place called Coffee Culture. It is also cheap! That is deffinitly a bonus.

Can I have extra cheese ? yes,, at 41, I would expect a first impression to be worth more than that,,, if it was ON the way to a show or to get some videos for relaxing at home,, that would be different,,, but I dont even go to those places for dinner myself, I just hit the drive through on the way to someplace else |

doesn't bother me. I actually like fast food. I'm not there for the food anyway, but I'm there for the company.

Wouldn't bother me at all....especially if it was just the first time meeting. The purpose is to sit and talk and see if there is anything there...not to be impressed by how much money he can spend on you?
Besides...Jack in the Box tacos are DA BOMB!!!!

I actually wouldn't mind meeting someone at Wendy's. I wouldn't want to eat though..I don't like having dinner on a first date, that is just not my thing!! What is the difference between Wendy's and a coffee shop...oh wait, the price!!
I get all stressed out IF I have to eat in front of someone on the first date. I would rather just have a coke and talk...let me be relaxed people!!!! |

Any Mc D's type place seems wrong to me, but how does Starbucks or Beaners rate any better? It's a "meeting". I did scratch a meeting because she insisted on a $50 a plate fish joint for a first meeting. Sorry, I'll happily treat you like a queen, but NO gold diggers need apply! |

Are you expecting one right answer for all women? I'm fine with meeting at a coffee shop as a place to sit and chat. Much more comfy than any fast food restaurant in my opinion. Other women may not agree. Your best bet is to talk to the woman you're looking to meet and find out what she's ok with as a place to meet. |

Women and men have their own preferences on things. There is no right or wrong answer. I prefer a more laid back setting, like fast food or coffee (not a walk because summer in Texas is too hot )
First dates are nerve racking enough for me without adding a more formal setting |
