Topic: Is Knowledge a Gift from Satan - part 2 | |

"God is the Creator of Everything wouldn't that also mean that God is the creator of Nothing? ok - so what big deal. nothing is a subset of everything. god also created boogers which is also a subset of everything. no...nothing is not the subset of everything.....nothing is the opposite of everything there are clearly things that God did not create....did God create himself? ridiculous. everything contains nothing trivially. god is, was and always will be. eternal. so the question of whether god created god is meaningless. but if you want to think of it that way then i suppose that is ok too. |

God may be "always was"....but he was created by something that "always been" |

Whether you like it or not, whatever you say about the universe also applies to your god. If everything has to have a creator then so does your god, if your god has always been, then it is also possible for the universe to have always been. |

The universe probably has always been, but the life on this planet hasn't. God is the alpha and the omega, the begining and the end. There CAN'T be nothing before the begining. |

God wasn't created, God has always been and will always be. a pretty catchy phrase but it doesn't mean that God wasn't created can anyone that believe in God deny that God had a first thought? .....that first thought was formed from that which existed before God existence ... |

How does it fail a logic test? and what logic test? And who's logic? God has to be an extremely complex thing, (to use Dawkins' words) a god would be the ultimate 747. Science has done a nice job of showing that simplicity gives raise to complexity. (Through evolution). By using the logic we get from Science (or just re-working the creationist argument) For God to be as complex as he is, there HAD to be something before god. Either for him to evolve from, or for him to be created from. Personally, we have natural explanations for everything we understand, I don't see a need to invoke the supernatural for things we don't fully understand yet. |

God didn't have to go through evolution and all that, none of the natural laws we have on earth apply to God, for God created those laws. If God wishes for it to be, it is. So that is kinda irrelevant about evolution. |

How could there have been funches? Just how? How can something be before the begining of everything? And i mean EVERYTHING, not just this planet, this galaxy, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that ever did or does exist. It's not possible, God is/was before Everything. |

Not exactly cause everything that does happen in the world happens only because God allows it to happen. That is the only reason for evolution, because God allows it. Doesn't happen because it is what happened to him, it happens because he ALLOWS it to happen. |

Cowboy...aren't you trying to claim that God exist before everything ...I have no dispute with that....I'm just saying that something also existed before God |
