I dont commit online,,,I make acquaintances and friends and Im always open to making new acquaintances and friends

if we meet live, and over time develop a commitment,, I am loyal and devoted

but no,, online, it cant be more than a friendship/acquaintance

Personally I would feel I would "owe" it to that person to see what happens. Doesn't mean I don't make friends along the way. But I would not be looking for anything else.
My feeling are the same. I feel that if you are talking to someone through through this site for the purpose of getting to know them,and having them get to know you. Then make it to talking through your normal email account and on the phone. And possibly communicating by web cam. I feel that you " owe " it to the other person to take yourself off the ( available to date ) list. But keep yourself on the just looking for friends list. I don't believe in playing the field.
